Founded
Great Lakes Driving School offers professional driving instruction for new and experienced drivers alike. We provide comprehensive training courses for both Canadian and International students. Our instructors are highly qualified professionals who have extensive experience teaching driver education classes. They are also trained to teach the latest technologies and equipment used in today’s vehicles. Students receive hands-on training in the classroom and behind the wheel. Our goal is to ensure that every student receives the best possible driving instruction.
Maintenance & Adjustments
Concepts learned in the classroom and in the yard will be reinforced in this practical application during the in-vehicle hands-on training. Spending time with our experienced instructors will provide you with the on-the-road knowledge you need to be a successful driver. Employers expect entry-level drivers to understand how to protect their investment, given the high cost of today's modern equipment.

Equipment
Our truck and trailer fleet includes high rise, conventional, day cabs trucks, air ride, van trailers (empty and with loads). The majority of the training vehicles are latest models with additional controls for your added safety.
Classroom
Today's driver's job entails far more than simply "driving the truck." Entry-level drivers must have log books, maintenance logs, manifests, bills of landing, trip planning, inter-state and provincial regulations, load and balance restrictions, tie down loads security procedures, air brake endorsement certifications, and the day-to-day work routine. Our classroom training is intended to assist you in learning. Lessons are taught on the road by qualified instructors who have faced the same challenges you will as a new driver.
